As we use the words in our design studio, a bracelet is on a chain and is flexible (e.g. any of the Aikerness designs), whereas a bangle is firm and fixed – often made out of just one or two pieces of precious metal (e.g. the Finnish Beast bangle.)
Never mind the strictly accurate classifications: there’s no disputing the fact that they are all gorgeous examples of the jeweller’s craft. Some have Celtic inspiration, some are contemporary designs: just click on the picture for more information.
